Safeguarding & support disclaimer
Please choose real-time help when the moment is urgent.
Bridging Tomorrow can offer words and signposting. It cannot see an emergency unfold or keep somebody physically safe.
What Bridging Tomorrow is, and is not
This is an editorial, educational and signposting website. It is not an emergency service, crisis line, therapy service, medical provider, safeguarding authority or source of legal advice. Content is general information and cannot replace advice from a qualified professional who understands your circumstances.
Our email inbox is not monitored 24 hours a day. We cannot promise an immediate reply, active monitoring or intervention if someone may be at risk.
Other immediate support
You can call Samaritans free, at any time, on 116 123. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 or go to A&E. Service availability can change, so check the provider’s own website for current hours and coverage.
Reading and contributing safely
Stories may discuss loneliness, rejection, identity, mental health or other emotional experiences. Pause, leave the page or seek support whenever you need to. Contributors should avoid identifiable information about others and anything that could place a person at risk.
The public site can be read by young people, but journal submissions are currently limited to adults aged 18 or over. Bridging Tomorrow does not provide direct casework or one-to-one services to children.
External services and concerns
We review support links periodically, but external organisations control their own services and content. A link is signposting, not a guarantee or endorsement of every aspect of a service.
To report a concern about Bridging Tomorrow content or community conduct, email hello@bridgingtomorrow.com. Do not use email for an emergency.
